I am feeling better! I guess the hardest thing for me...is I am so hard on myself!!! If it's not perfect, then it's crap....But I'm finding that I don't have to be perfect, well who is anyway? (I only know of one person who fits that description ~ and it's definitely not me!!!) Each day I need to keep my focus, do a little better than I think, stay consistent, (keep to my routine), and push through ALL obstacles!!!! If I do that, then things happen!!!
Attitude is better today. It's 6:45am and I've put in 40 minutes on the treadmill, had breakfast and read my Bible. Now I'm blogging and later I'll get ready for work. That's a lot to do in a short time. But I'm doing it!!
Last Sunday I made a calendar of what I need to do each day. Geez you'd think I was in Kindergarten with all the reminders I need to have to just make it through the day with some success. Oh well, instead of fretting about it, I'm embracing the fact that it only takes a little reminder and if I'm diligent I will have a successful day!!
So far....this is a great day!!!
How about you? Are you on track?
Stay focused!!!!
Glad you are feeling better. I'm staying focused and up, but I know that it won't always be like this. A lot of overweight people (me included) either want to lose weight perfectly or not at all. But this is life and as you say nobody is perfect and neither is life. We need to roll with the punches. WTG with your treadmilling - that will surely lift your mood.
ReplyDeleteYAY! So glad you're feeling better today, Joy. :) I'm doing good and it's been a busy day, so I haven't had time to graze like I usually do during the day, and that's always a good thing. :)
ReplyDeletein kindergarten..or the president. he has people who tell him where to go....reminders are great tools. Whatever it takes.
ReplyDeleteI cracked up over you saying you felt like we were back in Kindergarten over the reminder lists, LOL! Yeah, me too, with my fancy schmancy Checklist. All we need now is to give ourselves pretty Gold Stars!
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... I have some somewhere around here...

Happy for you. I am struggling with some things I wrote on my blog. smile
ReplyDeletety for your kind words of wisdom. I am going to do more research now. smile.
ReplyDeleteGood glad you are feeling better. Have you ever thought about making a list of the three or four things you really want to accomplish in a day? Doing those first and all the rest after? It is not my idea, but, from the focus manifesto (http://focusmanifesto.com/). I am doing it and it really has helped me!
