Obstacles, Set Backs & Frustrations

OK I am really trying to figure out why I have to go through this. I just had two of my best days in a long time - Exercised, calories under my goal, water in, 2 pounds down, pampered myself (pedicure & tan) and having fun...and today, I am paying for it. Seems I take two steps forward and one step back. All day long my head has been hurting. I have this tremendous pressure all on the right side, I was dizzy and I have pressure and tingling in my face. Got so bad today, I thought I was going to toss my cookies. (No I did not really have cookies!) I spoke to my neurologist and she said I have a tension headache. Advised I get my eyes checked. My eye appointment is this Friday. If the eye doc does not see anything and after getting new glasses, if I'm still having this problem, I am going back to my neurologist. Just don't feel right!

This obstacle does not set me all back, just limits what I can do physically. SO FRUSTRATING!

I need a break! Had 4 injuries last year and now this. (I've been having this issue, with my head, on and off for a couple of months)

Really anxious to be able to put my whole focus on my weight loss & fitness journey ~ Not on injuries or sickness!

OK no more whining!

Anyway, I'm not going to let it get me down. I pushing through!

Keep focused!!!!

  3. You know, I've been frustrated about the same thing - I was so good & on track and now I've got the flu - that should get rid of some more weight, however, I'm so weak, it's also messing up my exercise progress. I think we just have to do the best in the circumstances and drop the perfectionism ("I will do everything this way forever") ... this too will pass! ((( hugs )))

  4. That is really awful. I hope you get to the root of the problem soon and get it resolved. It is so frustrating to have your head in the right place and not be able to do anything about it.

  5. Pushing through is the right attitude. But getting pro help is the right thing to do. Doing all you can to get well should help with the frustration but it wont make it go away until you are well. Keep pushing and wishing you well!
