I made it!!! I'm in the 220's...well 229.8, but I'm there!!

I have not been down this far since 1992!! Three more pounds and I will be at my lowest since I moved back to Oregon.

Funny to think the people here have never seen me this thin.

Yesterday, I put on my tank top and blouse. I usually leave the blouse open, because I cannot button it. Well yesterday, this outfit looked sloppy. So I decided to button the blouse.

Well....not only did it button, but it looked great!!!

Looks like it took five pounds off. I am starting to get a shape. So fun!!!

The other thing is, I blasted past my last milepost, 236, without even realizing it. Now I at a new milepost.

I want to make sure that I don't sabotage myself, as it seems, every time I hit a new goal, I kind of lose my mind and gain a couple of pounds. Then it takes me a week to get it off. I hate losing time!!!

I am just going to push through!!

How are you doing?

  1. Congrats!!! That is awesome. Job well done. You should post some progress pics.

  2. You know that I get that milestone madness, too! It's just sooo nuts.

BUT we're gonna do this thing, this time! Yes we are.

Today, I weighed in at 171.0 pounds. I checked for that little fear to rise, and it did not. I guess I only have one panic parade for each milestone. :D

I'm going with that theory, anyway. chuckle. (It has taken me almost 2 weeks to lose the weight I gained from seeing 172. sigh)

I've prayed for you to avoid the milestone madness this time, too!

    For freedom,

  3. I'm a new follower and have just caught up on your blog. Yes, I went back to the very beginning and read all the entries!

Congratulations on your progress and I will be watching with interest going forward.

I will keep your SIL in my prayers.

  4. Congrats on the loss. I stopped by your blog today.
    Less of Me

  5. Yeah Joy!! I'm so proud of you! Look at you go, losing weight and getting in the 220's and wearing clothes that didn't fit before...atta girl!
At least you're aware that you have a tendency to sabotage yourself and being aware is half the battle. Just keep doing what you're doing and have faith in yourself!

  6. I am THRILLED for you!!! You are making huge changes and you have much to be happy about! I also read your boob post - hilarious!! And your post and plea to each of us to be healthy! I'm sure trying hard! I gave in to some emotional eating for lunch, but the day is not over yet!! ;) which that right there is progress because that use to lead to a ruined day, week and sometimes month!! Woo hoo!!
